THE LITTLE YEAST

At home with my mother in the kitchen on a lovely afternoon preparing to bake a bread, after adding all the ingredients she said to me "Ify, this little yeast is important in baking a bread because it causes the bread to rise.

It is no wonder JESUS used it in a parable in Matthew 13:33(NLT)

Jesus also used this illustration: "The kingdom of God is like yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough",

The little yeast expresses the important of a person in the society or in the world and the impact that person has caused and what the person will be remembered for in the years to come.

We all know of a man called Bill Gate, the inventor of Microsoft and the richest man in the world. The little yeast Bill gate got an idea of Microsoft and forever will be remembered for it. 

Example of the little yeast is our LORD JESUS; God graced us all with HIS Son into the world who brought salvation to mankind, the Holy spirit and so many spiritual gifts. That same spiritual gift HE gave to his apostles and apostle Paul repeated same word in Gal 5:9

"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough"(NIV)

 Salvation, the Holy Spirit and so many things JESUS left behind got to you years after HE had gone back to heaven. Don't let what HE left behind be a waste, you got the Holy spirit (the source of all things) in you and NOW it time to reach out to the world with your great ideas and cause a change that you would forever be remembered for.

YOU ARE THE LITTLE YEAST AND GOD EXPECTS YOU TO CAUSE A RISING.
